Yen Press' "Seasoned Secretary" is a charming series that's the epitome of slice-of-life romantic comedy. The story follows Miso Kim, a dedicated secretary who quits her job to pursue a life filled with romance and relaxation. However, her hapless boss, Youngjun Lee, refuses to let her leave and makes it his mission to stop her from abandoning ship. The well-paced narrative allows for the cast to develop naturally, with the illustration perfectly capturing the story's expressive and realistic characters. Gyeongyun Jeong's writing is incredible and has been enjoyed by readers worldwide. Highly recommended for anyone who has ever worked with an annoying boss and wants a good laugh.

The hard-boiled dialogue, lived-in atmosphere, and strange, forgotten history of 20th-century America make Palomino a must-read for fans of noir and mystery.
